Helpful Tips:

  • Due to the carbonated nature of champagne, these are best served immediately and not made ahead of time. Thankfully, they’re super easy, so it doesn’t tend to cause any trouble having to make them in the moment.
  • Use your favorite champagne for the best outcome in flavor preference.
  • I do not suggest mixing these in a cocktail shaker before adding them to the glass since this can flatten the champagne.
  • You’re welcome to use cocktail cranberry juice, but it tends to take over the drink and doesn’t quite let the champagne shine. However, if you don’t mind this, cocktail juice is just fine.
  • Have the juice and champagne already chilled if a cold drink is preferred.
  • If you want a non-alcoholic version, you can make a virgin mimosa using lemon lime soda in place of the champagne.

Making it For A Crowd

While this holiday mimosa recipe is easy to make for individuals, you could certainly adjust it to make it for a crowd.

You can add 1 bottle of champagne (25 ounces) to a large pitcher or punch bowl and mix in 12 oz of cranberry juice. You can then throw in some sugared cranberries and rosemary sprigs and allow people to scoop up their own mimosa.
