You might be wondering how to keep cool this summer and this Copycat Starbucks Cool Lime Refresher is sure to do the trick! It’s simply, refreshingly delicious!
To me, fresh limes just scream summer!
Limes are great for cooking, baking, and for mixing in drinks.
I especially love to enjoy them in the Starbucks Cool Lime Refresher but purchasing them several times a week can be costly. Definitely not something that is Dave Ramsey approved.
Note: I have learned that as of Summer 2018, the cool lime refresher has been discontinued in many Starbucks locations.
So, I found a way around that by using a copycat recipe that tastes just like the real thing! The best part is you can make it right at home saving you time and money!
Make a large batch in a pitcher so you can enjoy this fresh drink all week. Sure hope you will give this a try and let me know what you think!

Starbucks Cool Lime Refresher Recipe
What you need to make a Starbucks Cool Lime Refresher:
- Water
- Lime Juice (I prefer fresh squeezed)
- Fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
- Cucumber, peeled and chopped
- Sugar or sweetener (I love using Truvia in my recipes to cut calories)
- Limes for garnish (optional)
How to Make a Starbucks Cool Lime Refresher:
Once you’ve gathered your ingredients, it’s pretty simple to make this delicious cool lime refresher.
Start by finely chopping the mint leaves and cucumber. Doing this will allow the juices and flavor to extract into the water better.
Next fill a pitcher with water and add the mint leaves and cucumber to it. You want to allow these to sit in the water for at least 15 minutes to infuse. I personally like to let mine infuse overnight.
Take a slotted spoon and remove the cucumbers and mint leaves from the water. It’s even easier if you have a special pitcher with a built in infuser.
Now add your lime juice and sugar and stir until well incorporated.
Pour into a glass filled with ice and garnish with some mint leaves and limes. Enjoy!
I love this recipe because it offers the great taste of Starbucks without breaking the bank (or hurting your wallet).
You can make this in a pitcher for a lot less than a Venti would cost you and that my friends, makes me happy.

It tastes delicious but it doesn’t taste like the one from Starbucks. I will be making again, though!
You folks are missing the green coffee bean juice, which is what gives Starbucks Refreshers its caffeine content.
What about the caffeine??
I’m pretty sure a bit of green tea powder is added.
Its green coffee
I am a Cool Lime fanatic! I can’t wait to try this and stop buying the real thing at Starbucks. THEY ARE TOO EXPENSIVE!!!
