The 5 Dollar Tree Items I’m Stocking Up On Before They Raise In Price

If the rise of Dollar Tree items from $1.00 to $1.25 was a sticker shock to you, you may not like where Dollar Tree is heading…

Dollar Tree has recently begun raising prices on items throughout their store and they have intentions on raising prices on items up to $7 by the end of 2024. With that being said, your hard earned dollars are about to stretch less at Dollar Tree.

So, if you are like me and want to maximize on those discounts while you can, I am sharing the 5 Dollar Tree Items I’m Stocking Up On Before They Raise In Price.

5 Dollar Tree Items I’m Stocking Up On Before They Raise In Price

Now I want to stress that there is no guarantee that these items will be increasing in price. However, with Dollar Tree’s intentions to raise prices to $3, $5, and up to $7, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Besides, there have been many rumors circulating about items in these categories being part of the price increase sometime this year.

Cleaning Supplies

If you are needing to get some Spring cleaning done, Dollar Tree is a one-stop shop. They have a ton of cleaners to get your home squeaky clean including mops, brooms, and more. These items are currently $1.25 and are great to stock up on because of their long shelf life.

Personal Hygiene Products

One of my favorite items to keep a stockpile of at all times is personal hygiene products – you can never have enough especially with a teenager in the house!

From deodorants to razors to shampoo and feminine products, Dollar Tree has tons of great options at the $1.25 price tag. These items also have a great self-life making them stock up worthy.

Paper Products

While I do prefer buying toilet paper and paper towels in bulk at Costco, Dollar Tree is a great place to grab smaller quantities that are easier to store. They do have name brand items such as Scott’s tissue and Brawny Paper towels.

I’ve also seen high-quality paper plates, plastic cutlery and plastic cups. These are all great items to stock up on because they will last a long time.

Storage Containers

I don’t know about you, but I seem to always lose a storage container or two especially around the holidays. Luckily, Dollar Tree sells a variety of options that can help you keep your leftovers stored correctly. I’ve seen tons of name brand options and tons of sizes and types so take the time to look around and stock up on these while you can.

Holiday/Birthday Cards

Dollar Tree’s vast selection of holiday and birthday cards is one of the reasons I continue to shop there. Visit your local Walmart and Target and just see the prices on cards – I’ve seen some up to $12 in price!

With that being said, you can totally start a small stockpile of a variety of greeting cards so you pay either 2 for $1.25 or $1.25 on the Hallmark cards and you’re prepared for your next event.

Now that you have an idea of what you should stock up on before Dollar Tree raises their prices, make sure you grab a few more of these types of items on your next Dollar Tree run.
