Dollar Tree recently announced they would be closing nearly 1,000 stores between their Dollar Tree and Family Dollar locations (in case you didn’t know, Dollar Tree owns Family Dollar).
While Dollar Tree has plans to close roughly 600 stores this year, they intend to close additional stores throughout the next few years as the lease expires in those locations.
With that all being said, you may be wondering if your local Dollar Tree or Family Dollar is closing. Lucky for you, I have the first initial list of stores closing (with more locations to come later).
While Dollar Tree has not confirmed this list of closures, these stores have already been discounting items up to 50% off and current employees and customers have confirmed their closing.
We are hoping that Dollar Tree will soon release an official list of stores closing so those communities in those areas can plan accordingly.
