Dollar Tree Is Now Selling Eggs Once Again

With the rise in grocery prices, saving money anywhere you can is a win.

With that being said, I have some exciting news to share…Dollar Tree is now selling eggs once again!

Now in case you didn’t know, Dollar Tree did sell eggs for many years.

Dollar Tree used to be known for selling $1 eggs. Eggs would be either a 6 count, 8 count, 12 count or 18 count depending on location.

Back in 2021, Dollar Tree announced it would raise prices to $1.25 due to the rising costs of everything.

But then when the cost of eggs began to skyrocket earlier this year, Dollar Tree announced they would no longer sell eggs for the time being.

“Our primary price point at Dollar Tree is $1.25. The cost of eggs is currently very high,” Dollar Tree, which has around 9,000 US stores, will bring back eggs when “costs are more in line with historical levels.”

But as of today, Dollar Tree has brought back eggs to participating stores!!

People are already finding the eggs back in store.

As of right now, they are the $1.25 price point.

Now, depending on the size your store carries, it may not be a great deal.

BUT, Dollar Tree’s CEO did say the stores are rolling back many items to $1, could eggs be one of them?

“It’s pretty hard to have a banner like (Dollar Tree), and you have an item that everybody else has at $1, and you’re at a buck and a quarter,”
Dollar Tree CEO Rick Dreiling told an investors’ conference last week.

Yay!! I am really excited to see many items be $1 once again. Even saving $0.25 per item is a good chunk of change!
