5 Dollar Tree Breakfast Meals Under $5
Meal idea #1 – bacon, eggs and toast. Did you know that Dollar Tree sells eggs? My local store had a 6 count of eggs for $1.25. I also found a pack of bacon and bread. Final cost for all 3 = $3.75 + tax.
Meal idea #2 – breakfast sandwiches. I found Jimmy Dean Sausage Patties (comes in a pack of 4) and you can make these with an egg (or with bacon) and then add on top of mini bagels or these Thomas English Muffins. Total cost = $5 + tax. This would make 4+ different breakfast sandwiches too!
Meal idea #3 – Frozen breakfast burritos. If you are in a rush or want something fast to make and filling, these Jimmy Dean omelet burritos or El Monterey Breakfast Wraps come packed with protein. Grab one (or two) of these and add some hot sauce or salsa. Easy, yummy and cheap! Total cost = $2.50+ tax.
Meal idea #4 – Frozen breakfast sandwiches. If you want to skip making your own version, you can get these Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. They had a few different options and all were $1.25. These are single meals so each meal would cost $1.25+ tax.
Meal idea #5 – drink your calories. And if you need something to wash it all down, Dollar Tree has these bottles of orange juice and flavored milks (chocolate, vanilla, birthday cake, strawberry, etc.) that are $1.25 as well.
The milks can be a meal replacement as they have 15g of protein and 320 calories roughly each!
As you can see, you can make affordable breakfast meals utilizing the bargain prices at Dollar Tree.
So, the next time you are there, make sure you check out your stores selection for the best meal ideas on a budget.
